Terms of service

A tool for building, timing and printing setlists. You paste song titles; it matches them to real recordings to fill in key, tempo and length, times the set against your slot, and prints a stage sheet.

Song data comes from Apple Music, MusicBrainz and GetSongBPM. It is matched automatically and nobody checks it by hand, so it can be wrong. The app shows you where it is unsure and every field is editable. Check anything you are going to play from.

You need an account to keep more than one setlist and to have your setlists follow you between devices. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to have an account.

You keep every right to what you put in: your setlists, your notes, your band’s details. We claim no ownership of them and we do not sell them or use them to train anything. We store and process them only to run the service for you.

Song titles, artist names and the recording data attached to them come from third parties and remain theirs.

Free keeps one saved setlist, with no time limit and no card required.

Pro keeps as many as you like. It starts with a free trial; at the end of the trial the subscription begins and your card is charged, unless you cancel first. Current prices and the trial length are on the pricing page, which is the figure that applies.

Pro renews automatically until you cancel, monthly or annually, whichever you chose. Payments are handled by Stripe.

Cancelling: you can cancel at any time from your account page, without asking anyone. Cancelling stops the next charge and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds: if you are charged by mistake, or you cancel and are billed anyway, email help@setlists.io and we will refund it. Beyond that, payments already made are not refunded for the part of a period you have used. The free trial is there so you can decide before paying anything.

If a price changes, it will not change what you are paying without notice by email first, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

If a subscription lapses: your setlists are not deleted. You keep access to them; what you lose is the ability to save new ones beyond the free plan’s one.

The song lookup calls services that we pay for and that rate-limit us, so there is an hourly limit on lookups per person. It is set high enough that ordinary use, even a long night of setlist building, will not reach it.

Do not attempt to break the service, get around its limits, resell it, or use it to store anything unlawful.

If something here infringes your copyright, email help@setlists.io with enough detail to find it: what the work is, where it appears, and how to reach you. We will look, and take down anything that should not be here.

Song titles, artist names and the recording data attached to them come from Apple Music, MusicBrainz and GetSongBPM, and belong to their owners. What you build is yours. If you paste in lyrics, charts or anything else you do not have the right to use, that is on you rather than on us.

Setlists.io is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and correct, but we cannot promise it will always be available, or that the song data will always be right.

Keep a copy of anything you cannot lose. You can export your setlists at any time, and printing the stage sheet gives you a copy that does not need us, a network or a battery. For a gig that matters, print it.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page, which erases the setlists stored on it. See the privacy page for exactly what that removes and how long backups persist.

We may suspend an account that is breaking these terms, and will say why.

Setlists.io is a sole proprietorship operated by Grant Larcom, doing business as Setlists.io. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Wherever you live, you keep any rights your own consumer-protection law gives you; nothing here takes those away.

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the new version.
